Job description
Create, support and uphold a culture of collective high performance and great customer experiences across the store, with a specific focus on the IT & Gaming department. To support role, assist the Store Management team with storewide objectives.
- Achieve sales and profitability targets for your store
- Ensure all IT Gaming Department activities meet compliance and legislative standards, with an emphasis on Safety, including in-store process and incident reporting
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver a positive experience for both instore and online customers
- Maintain a high standard of pricing integrity across the IT & Gaming Department
- Cross train, develop and support sales team members on all aspects of IT & Gaming Department products and services
- Ensure all sales activities meet compliance and legislative standards, including meeting responsibilities outlined in the CGA or other legislation
- Contribute to financial performance through inventory management, loss prevention and management of controllable expenses
- Assist the Store Management team, where required, in all daily operational aspects of the store
- Continuously improve skills and product knowledge through available online platforms and participation in other development opportunities
- Keep informed of industry trends and market developments
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to further develop this role and present recommendations to Management accordingly
- At least two years retail operations experience
- Demonstrated experience overseeing / coordinating the activities of team
