Applied Medical is seeking a professional and driven Orthopaedic Manager to join the Field Implementation team, based in either New South Wales or Queensland. About this role: The Orthopaedic Manager is responsible for providing and supporting minimally invasive surgical solutions to hospitals and driving the commercial performance and strategic direction of Applied Medical’s Orthopaedic product portfolio in both public and private operating theatres across the assigned Areas, Regions and Territories. You will play a key role in strengthening product positioning, enhancing customer satisfaction and sustaining market growth by applying clinical knowledge and strategic selling skills within the hospital setting. Success in this role will come from establishing rapport, credibility and building strong long-term professional relationships with specialists and other key stakeholders. Your responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic sales and promotional plans across assigned territories • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Consultants, Fellows and Trainees to drive product adoption and clinical advocacy • Represent and promote Applied Medical positively across all customer interactions and align with Applied Medical’s company values and mission • Oversee and implement call and travel plans aligned with product and market strategies • Ensure accurate, timely and compliant use of CRM systems for planning, reporting and documentation • Maintain a high level of product, clinical and technical expertise within orthopaedics • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support business objectives and growth initiatives • Comply with all company policies, procedures and safety requirements • Understand and adhere to Applied Medical’s Quality Systems (QS) • Successfully complete all required training, achieving a minimum 90% pass mark in LearnShare modules and training programs • Achieve budget through effective product strategy, market development and commercial execution • Demonstrate flexibility with working hours and travel as required by business needs Why Applied Medical? • Work for a market leader with a consistent pipeline of innovative products, who has a significant and sustainable impact on healthcare • International work environment with an industry leading culture of learning and development • Extensive industry leading onboarding and training in Applied Medical products and sales methods as part of your onboarding and ongoing development • Your wellness is important to us, our Employee Assistance Program is available to all team members • Access to Health & Wellbeing Benefits Platform – WHEREFIT • Your high performance will be rewarded with a lucrative commission scheme and recognition of your achievements by your colleagues About you: We are seeking a candidate with proven orthopaedic experience within a theatre environment. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver clinical solutions and demonstrate value-driven outcomes for all stakeholders. Operating within the healthcare setting, you will be expected to provide solutions that support our customers' needs while aligning with the core values of Applied Medical. • Relevant experience in orthopaedic procedures that may include (hip, shoulder, clinical support, or orthopaedic nursing background) • 3-5 years’ sales experience, preferably within the healthcare or medical device industries) • Preferred previous experience providing clinical support in an operating theatre setting • Proven track record of success in a previous role • Existing knowledge base of anatomy and physiology focused on the musculoskeletal system • Consultative approach with the ability to contribute to and enhance strategic thinking • Curiosity and a passion for learning • Ability to retain and articulate complex clinical information • High level of interpersonal skills with the demonstrated ability to successfully engage with all stakeholders • Practical knowledge of the healthcare space • Strong business acumen, analytical and organisational skills • Adaptable and flexible in response to changing business needs • Highly collaborative professional with excellent verbal and written communication • Clear and inspiring presenter supporting education initiatives • Demonstrated strong work ethic and capacity to manage competing priorities • Current Drivers License • If successful, a current passport and visa, where required, is needed for training in Australia, South Korea, USA or Europe Please follow links to apply.
