Overview About the Role At Gallagher Bassett (GB), our Business Intelligence team is responsible for enabling seamless access to data through reporting and data models. We pride ourselves on delivering end-to-end BI solutions that empower users to self-service and make informed decisions. We are currently seeking a Senior BI developer to join our Brisbane Based BI team. In this position, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and delivering sophisticated BI solutions that address critical business needs. You’ll bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for turning complex data into meaningful insights. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to strategic initiatives and, at times, support project delivery and planning alongside the International Head of Business Intelligence. How you'll make an impact Key Responsibilities Partnering with business and technical stakeholders to elicit and translate requirements into effective BI solutions Designing, building and supporting end-to-end data warehouse architecture and development Developing solutions using SQL Managed Instances Designing and implementing Data Factory pipelines and Databricks scripting to address complex requirements Building and managing tabular models using Tabular Editor Developing and enhancing Power BI dashboards and Paginated Reports (SSRS) Collaborating with a global BI team, sharing knowledge and best practices Supporting and contributing to strategic planning and project delivery About you About You We are looking for technically strong and collaborative BI professional who thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. If you enjoy solving complex problems and communicating insights clearly to a wide range of stakeholders, this role could be a great fit for you. We are also looking for candidates who have: 5–7+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence or related roles Strong expertise in data visualization, modelling, and conceptual/physical design Hands-on experience across the Microsoft BI stack, including: SQL Azure Data Factory Databricks Tabular Models Power BI SSRS Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work across national and international teams Experience with Tableau will be ideal, however not essential to your success Why Join Gallagher Bassett?
