FMCG | Ireland & UK Supply Chain | Compliance | Perm - Full time

Are you a proactive supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment? We are looking for a Supply Chain & Compliance Manager to take ownership of stock management, logistics partnerships and regulatory compliance across a diverse product portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring product availability, driving operational efficiency and maintaining high compliance standards across Irish and UK markets.

The Role

As Supply Chain & Compliance Manager, you will lead end-to-end stock and logistics operations while ensuring all products meet regulatory requirements. You will partner closely with brand owners, logistics providers and internal teams to deliver a seamless supply chain.

Stock Management

  • Forecast demand in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Place purchase orders with brand owners and manufacturers to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Monitor stock holding, availability and risks, providing regular reporting
  • Minimise wastage, damages and obsolescence through strong controls
  • Review slow-moving, short-dated or discontinued stock and take corrective action
  • Work closely with Brand Managers to plan future requirements

Warehouse & Logistics Management

  • Manage the relationship with the company’s 3PL logistics provider
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries and forward planning aligned to demand forecasts
  • Ensure stock is stored and handled in line with labelled conditions and best practice
  • Support warehouse capacity planning and forecasting
  • Manage logistics costs in line with budgets
  • Oversee pallet tracking and transactions with CHEP
  • Conduct stocktakes twice yearly and monthly cycle counts
  • Ensure correct stock rotation prior to customer delivery

Compliance & Regulatory

  • Ensure all products meet requirements for sale in the Irish market
  • Maintain WDA authorisation in line with HPRA standards and best practice
  • Manage imports via TRACES, INIS and DAFM systems
  • Lead product recall processes in collaboration with logistics providers and stakeholders
  • Act as a key contact for regulatory bodies, audits and inspections
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with statutory and ISO standards

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Produce accurate monthly stock and performance reports
  • Liaise with sales teams regarding stock availability and risks
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, clients and logistics partners
  • Support wider operations teams during peak periods

About You

You are commercially aware, detail-driven and confident working across both operational and compliance functions.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain, demand planning or stock control within FMCG or retail
  • Experience working with 3PL providers and managing logistics operations
  • Knowledge of Irish or Northern Ireland retail supply chains is highly desirable
  • Experience with import and export processes is advantageous
  • Strong understanding of stock accuracy, data integrity and inventory control

Skills and Capabilities

  • Advanced organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for forecasting and reporting
  • Experience using ERP systems such as SAP
  • Ability to build relationships across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and compliance
  • Confidence in challenging and reviewing transactions to ensure accuracy and governance
