About the Role
In this role, you will strengthen Fuller’s global demand and inventory planning processes by transforming data into actionable insights. You will support the tactical inventory planning framework by helping to shape demand signals, optimize inventory levels, and ensure alignment between commercial needs and operational capabilities.
This position is an excellent opportunity to apply your data‑analysis skills while deepening your expertise in inventory management. You will gain hands‑on exposure to global inventory practices, systems, and KPIs, making it a strong development role for someone eager to advance in the supply chain and inventory domain.
Beyond demand forecasting, you will play an important part in elevating our inventory analytics by supporting the Head of Group Inventory & Warehousing with data‑driven insights, KPI reporting, and deep‑dive analysis to improve global inventory accuracy, health, and turnover.
Your Responsibilities
Support the Lead Demand Planner in developing, maintaining, and analyzing short‑ and long‑term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and commercial input.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure accuracy and alignment between demand plans and operational priorities.
Monitor forecast accuracy, track forecast error (MAPE & Bias), inventory health, and supply risks.
Identify root causes of forecast deviations and recommend corrective actions to improve forecast quality and planning stability.
Contribute to the review, enhancement, and deployment of planning tools and methodologies for global inventory optimization.
Define and manage ROP, Safety Stock, Min-Max and target inventory policies.
Perform segmentation for product customer combinations based on the demand history for ABC (Volume and the historical demand for XYZ - Variability)
Ensure product availability at the right place and right time by effectively balancing demand, supply and inventory.
Assist the Head of Group Inventory & Warehousing with inventory data analyst tasks, including data validation, KPI reporting, deep‑dive analysis, and building dashboards and insights to support decision-making.
Drive continuous improvement by leveraging advanced planning tools, ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred), and analytics to streamline processes and enhance planning efficiency.
Support cross-functional initiatives related to SI&OP maturity, inventory optimization, and operational excellence.
Some travel may be required.
what you bring
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or inventory management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong background and depth in Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Inventory Planning
Understanding of SI&OP & end-to-end supply chain processes
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle and D365 preferred).
Ability to use statistics and mathematics to create accurate demand plans
Ability to quickly and accurately generate action requirements and decisions based on planning system outputs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time constraints.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Results-oriented with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
