Forrest Johnson Recruiting is partnering with an industry-leading consumer services brand that is recognized as one of the top and fastest-growing companies in their industry. Our client is building out a field marketing team who will travel to assigned markets (80% travel) to execute events and localized marketing initiatives. Each Field and Event Marketing Lead will focus on coordination, hands-on execution, and performance tracking of local events and field marketing programs while partnering closely with regional leaders, site teams, and corporate marketing.

Key responsibilities of the Field and Event Marketing Lead include but are not limited to:
Field Marketing Execution
- Execute localized marketing campaigns, promotions, and events across assigned markets
- Directly support pre-opening, opening, and post-opening marketing initiatives for new locations
- Ensure brand standards and messaging are consistently applied at the local level
- Help create memorable customer experiences that strengthen brand loyalty and community connection
Community Engagement and Brand Activation
- Serve as a brand ambassador within assigned markets
- Identify and execute local marketing opportunities that increase brand visibility and drive traffic
- Research, recommend, and support participation in community events, sponsorships, festivals, fundraisers, and local partnerships
- Coordinate on-site event execution, including setup, promotional materials, staffing support, and customer engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and local business partners
- Represent company at local events, grand openings, sponsorship activations, and community initiatives (occasional evenings and weekends required)
- Assist in evaluating sponsorship and event opportunities based on brand alignment, community impact, and business goals
Marketing and Site Support
- Serve as day-to-day marketing support for site leaders and regional teams
- Assist with local marketing calendars, timelines, and execution checklists
- Coordinate signage, collateral, promotional materials, and vendor needs
- Troubleshoot execution issues and escalate risks proactively
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with operations and new site training teams to align marketing execution
- Support agency partners and local vendors as directed
- Assist in rolling out corporate campaigns to field locations
Performance and Reporting
- Track field marketing activity and basic performance metrics (traffic, participation, conversion)
- Compile post-event and post-launch recaps with insights and recommendations
Process and Playbook Management
- Follow established field marketing playbooks and execution standards
- Contribute feedback and ideas to improve tools, processes, and local activation programs
- Help document best practices and field learnings
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, events, hospitality, retail, or field operations preferred; open to considering driven recent college graduates
- Experience in multi-location, retail, franchise, or service-based environments a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends for events
