The Digital, UX/UI, and Creative Design Associate Manager plays a central role in shaping Strategy&’s digital presence and creative output across platforms. The role brings together UX/UI design, visual communication, and web development to deliver cohesive, user-centered, and high-impact digital experiences. Working closely with marketing teams and senior stakeholders, the Digital, UX/UI, and Creative Design Associate Manager drives the quality, consistency, and continuous evolution of digital and creative deliverables—ensuring alignment with brand standards while advancing innovation, usability, and overall effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Lead creative and UX/UI direction

  • Define and uphold standards for visual design, UX/UI, usability, accessibility, and brand expression across marketing and digital initiatives.
  • Drive continuous evolution of UX/UI methodologies and best practices to enhance usability, accessibility, and overall delivery quality across digital initiatives.
  • Lead, uphold, and advocate for Strategy& brand guidelines, ensuring consistent application across digital and creative assets while adapting thoughtfully to evolving formats.
  • Lead conceptualization and delivery of flagship digital and creative projects.
  • Ensure cohesive, user-centered design principles are consistently applied across campaigns, publications, web experiences, and digital products.
  • Translate business and marketing objectives into intuitive, strategically aligned creative solutions.

Oversee web development and digital delivery

  • Provide oversight and direction to technical web resources, ensuring high-quality front-end, CMS-driven, and performance-optimized delivery.
  • Guide collaboration between designers and developers from concept through deployment.
  • Oversee CMS-driven delivery and vendor-developed integrations to ensure alignment with architecture, security, performance, and brand standards.
  • Contribute to critical build decisions and resolve design-to-development challenges when required.

Lead and develop digital and creative resources

  • Manage and develop creative designers and web developers, setting priorities and performance expectations.
  • Allocate resources effectively across initiatives, balancing workload, timelines, and strategic importance.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous skill development.

Manage external vendors and scale capabilities

  • Select, manage, and evaluate external creative and web development vendors.
  • Define scope, timelines, quality expectations, and cost alignment for vendor-led work.
  • Review and approve vendor outputs to ensure adherence to Strategy& standards.
  • Identify opportunities to scale digital and creative delivery through tools, automation, and external capabilities.
  • Strengthen workflows, templates, and systems that improve efficiency and elevate output quality.

Champion innovation and emerging design technologies

  • Stay abreast of emerging UX/UI technologies, including Generative AI tools and platforms, and assess their applicability to enhance design efficiency, prototyping, research, and delivery quality.
  • Identify and pilot GenAI-driven opportunities to optimise workflows and elevate client outcomes while maintaining design integrity and governance standards.
  • Lead discussions with Risk & Quality teams to secure appropriate clearances for new tools and platforms, ensuring adherence to firm policies, data protection requirements, and responsible AI principles.
  • Continuously evaluate design systems, tools, and processes to strengthen scalability and innovation across the function.

Partner with senior stakeholders to shape impactful solutions

  • Act as a senior digital and creative partner to Marketing and internal clients / senior stakeholders.
  • Guide stakeholders through UX/UI and digital processes, clarifying requirements and aligning on outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, and budget while maintaining high standards of quality and innovation.
  • Contribute to maintaining and evolving the firm’s digital and creative portfolio.
  • Collaborate with global counterparts to align on UX/UI standards, digital real estate consistency, and creative best practices across regions.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Design, Digital Media, UX/UI, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience across UX/UI design, creative visual communication, and digital/web development environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading digital and creative projects end to end, from concept through deployment
  • Experience managing creative designers, web developers, and external vendors
  • Strong familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager) and modern web technologies is a plus
  • Experience working in professional services, consulting, or similarly fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments is preferred

Skills

  • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, usability, accessibility, and responsive design best practices
  • Strong visual design judgment and ability to maintain high standards of brand consistency and creative innovation
  • Ability to bridge creative and technical disciplines effectively, translating design vision into executable digital solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with confidence working with senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while balancing scope, timeline, budget, and quality
  • Strong vendor management capability, including defining expectations, reviewing outputs, and ensuring delivery standards
  • Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on execution mindset
  • Curiosity and commitment to staying current with digital, UX/UI, creative, and web development trends and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Fluency in written and spoken English; Arabic is a plus
