At Vention, we’re not just writing code; we’re solving real-world problems with embedded solutions. You’ll work on tech that matters, from energy transition to health innovation, building the brains behind connected products. One day you're deep into nRF firmware, the next you're debugging a board with an oscilloscope. We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with a strong focus on software quality and verification and validation. Someone who not only writes code, but also ensures that this code is demonstrably reliable. You will play a key role in setting up and maintaining test strategies and test frameworks for embedded systems. You will work on smart and connected products, often with strict requirements in the areas of reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will primarily work on nRF microcontrollers running Zephyr RTOS, or a similar platform. What you’ll be doing: Designing and implementing testable low-level embedded software in C Setting up and maintaining test frameworks for embedded systems Writing unit tests, integration tests, and regression tests Automating tests (for example, in our GitLab CI/CD pipelines) Testing on target hardware and with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups Analyzing test results and structurally improving software quality Contributing to software architecture decisions with testability in mind Collaborate closely with hardware, software, and design engineers to bring products to life.
