We are currently working with a French company that is a leader in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications. It has a team of more than 400 professionals developing a variety of products and services to safeguard cryptocurrency assets, including worldwide leading hardware wallets. As a DevOps Engineer (API Management), you will become a part of an international DevOps team responsible for engineering activities that support production services and infrastructure in a cloud-native environment. In this role, you will focus on the deployment, automation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of API Management platform based on Gravitee and Kubernetes. Your daily responsibilities Implement deployments to staging, preproduction, and production environments, including installation, configuration, and validation of Gravitee-based solutions and related infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and maintain Gravitee components in Kubernetes environments, including Gateways, Management API, UI, and supporting services. Prepare and maintain Kubernetes environments for the API platform, including namespaces, networking, ingress/egress, certificates, secrets, RBAC, and runtime configuration. Manage environmental dependencies and constraints during solution deployment to ensure smooth transitions to the Support branch of the organization. Prepare deployments and maintain production environments, ensuring accurate delivery and that all changes are properly validated and documented. Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and deployment automation using Terraform, Helm, and CI/CD tooling. Automate deployments, upgrades, patching, and configuration changes across environments. Support API gateway runtime operations from an infrastructure and operational perspective, including routing, certificates, secrets, and policy-related configuration. Perform validation of changes received from Engineering teams as part of the delivery process and promptly highlight key issues and risks. Configure and improve observability for the API platform, including logging, metrics, dashboards, and alerts. Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, CI/CD, and API platform runtime. Document platform setup and operational procedures to ensure smooth handover to Support teams. Liaise with Engineering, Product, and Support teams to carry out implementation, configuration, test execution, and reporting tasks. Identify and implement practices and improvements that increase the reliability, security, and maintainability of the platform. Report implementation, configuration, and testing progress to the Team Lead as required. We need you to have Experience with Linux/Unix, including scripting (shell, Bash, etc.). Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments (Docker). Good understanding of networking and security concepts relevant to API platforms, including ingress, load balancing, TLS/certificates, secrets management, and RBAC. Experience with deployments of multi-tier software systems across staging, preproduction, and production environments. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment/release automation. Basic knowledge of cloud concepts; AWS experience is strongly preferred. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or similar. Good understanding of API-based systems and practical experience with API gateways, reverse proxies, or load balancers. Knowledge of generic SQL database concepts and operations. Experience with observability and operational troubleshooting in production environments. Effective communication that leads to excellent working relationships with all parties. Ability to quickly identify, analyze, and proactively solve problems before they affect project outcomes. Good English oral and written communication skills, particularly in technical documentation and technical discussions. Would be great if you have Hands-on experience with Gravitee API Management Platform. Experience with API gateways or related platforms such as Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, WSO2, NGINX, HAProxy, or Envoy. Experience with AWS services used in platform environments, such as EKS, IAM, ALB/NLB, Route53, S3, RDS, or MSK. Experience with Helm charts, ArgoCD/Spinnaker, and GitOps-style delivery. Experience with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK/OpenSearch, or OpenTelemetry. Basic knowledge of blockchain technologies. Ability to work effectively across multiple organizational, functional, geographic, and cultural boundaries. Ability to work autonomously and quickly learn new skills and technologies.
