How You Will Make an Impact
The HSE Administration & Compliance Manager is responsible for the centralized management of safety systems, regulatory compliance, and administrative safety functions across all manufacturing operations. This role ensures alignment with MSHA requirements, maintains audit readiness, and drives consistency in compliance processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations under 30 CFR across all sites
• Manage required MSHA reporting and documentation
• Administer safety management systems including KPA, FLX, SHIELD, JSAs, and Workplace Exams
• Coordinate audits, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance gap assessments
• Maintain training compliance records and contractor safety documentation
• Analyze safety and compliance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Drive consistency in compliance processes across all locations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Directly related experience may substitute for education
• 5+ years of HSE experience with emphasis on compliance and systems management
• Experience in MSHA-regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety management systems
Preferred:
• CSP, CIH, or related certifications
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing or mining operations
Reporting Relationship
- Reports To: Director of EHS
• Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Work Location & Travel Requirements
- Location: Austin, TX / Permian Basin Operations
• Travel: 25%–40%
Schedule/Work Arrangement
- Full-time
• Exempt, Salaried
Physical Demands
- Frequent walking, standing, climbing, and outdoor work in industrial environments
• Ability to wear required PPE
• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
• Combination of office and field exposure
