As SEM Manager, you will grow all aspects of Paid Search activity for one of our biggest regional clients, providing insights, strategy and high-quality deliverables in tandem with the SEO personnel and wider agency team.
Responsibilities of the role:

Responsible for creating, leading and activating the search innovation/test & learn roadmap, that delivers on business goals and takes overall search strategy to advanced level – including but not limited to automation, data driven activation, automated bid management, conversion optimisation etc.

Lead the end to end search business for the client with a team of activation specialists

Key POC for client’s in SEM related issues

Lead all SEM discussions and conversations with the clients, local and global teams

Provide strategic SEM Approach as part of integrated digital strategy to Comms Planning Director

Understanding of the relationship between Paid Search and other online and offline marketing channels and activities especially with organic search and ideas for effective coordination

Monitor and have oversight of paid search activities in all markets

Complete daily run rates across a variety of accounts with ongoing optimizations, recommendations, and actionable insights and strategic POVs

Provide on-time and insightful reporting to clients on key metrics and agreed KPIs

Ongoing client servicing including but not limited to optimisation and campaign progress, prompt response to client and internal questions related to paid campaigns

Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, including media planners, bidding team, and SEO team to enhance search effectiveness.
What you will need:-
At least 5 years of experience in a digital marketing role with a focus on SEM

Google Ads Search & Google Ads Fundamentals Certification
-
Experience in running high-volume campaigns across Google Ads (AdWords), Bing Ads, UAC and Apple Search Strategic mindset to building and deliver bid strategies and attribution models across Google Search Ads 360, Kenshoo etc.

Proven experience of on-going campaign optimisation to improve business objectives, such as ROAS and CPA. Able to deliver across a range of touch points; sales, store visits, online submissions, downloads etc

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail around data, insights and actions
