Job Title: Senior Consultant
City: New York
State: NY or any other unanticipated worksites/locations throughout the U.S.
- Develop comprehensive cost plans and detailed estimates, utilize specific cost estimation software and industry-standard tools including CostX, HIVE and incorporate knowledge of local building codes and conditions and provide rate breakdowns for material, labor, equipment and productivity benchmarks.
- Deliver and present revised cost plans aligned with each design milestones, use advanced cost-management software and industry-specific methodologies.
- Evaluate proposed design modifications and the integration of emerging technologies, ensure that all cost estimates are calculated with specified level of precision and accuracy.
- Understand various design phases and correspond estimate standards and apply the appropriate level of cost estimation rigor at each stage of design lifecycle.
- Deliver commercial insights into the design optioneering process and ensure that all design alternatives are evaluated not only for technical feasibility but also for cost effectiveness and commercial viability.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility studies, apply advanced cost analysis techniques to assess the financial viability and economic impact of proposed projects from inception through to completion.
- Provide specialized cost consultancy on the mechanical, electrical and plumbing expenditure associated with various design alternatives, ensure that each option is evaluated for its MEP cost implications and budgetary impact.
- Execute value engineering processes to optimize project costs, systematically analyze design element and construction methods to ensure maximum functionality at the lowest possible cost.
- Orchestrate stakeholder collaboration in the formulation of detailed cost estimate, facilitate clear communication and ensure that all parties inputs are integrated into the final cost planning.
- Develop comprehensive cashflow forecasts for the entire construction lifecycle, ensure meticulous planning and monitor financial commitments.
- Undertake in-depth analysis of labor markets and key cost drivers like union regulations and taxation framework to forecast and manage their financial impact on my projects.
- Prepare monthly dashboards and present to clients, keep them updated on financial progress, cost forecasts, and any budgetary adjustments.
- Deliver comprehensive life-cycle cost models to help clients understand the long-term financial impacts and value of their projects.
- Leverage estimating tools and building information modeling software to create accurate cost estimates and provide detailed financial insights throughout the project.
- Identify cost effective solutions and develop best practice procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and budget optimization on projects.
- Perform benchmark integration to ensure that all data is captured accurately, enabling precise comparisons and informed cost analyses.

Senior Consultant or any other job title performing the following job duties:
- Developing comprehensive cashflow forecasts for the entire construction lifecycle, ensuring meticulous planning and monitoring financial commitments.
- Preparing monthly dashboards and presenting to clients, keeping them updated on financial progress, cost forecasts, and any budgetary adjustments.
- Overseeing change management processes including variation assessment and compensation event negotiation. Ensuring all changes are evaluated in accordance with contractual frameworks and commercial governance protocols.
- Executing comprehensive financial closure of project through meticulous preparation, negotiation and agreement of the final account, ensuring full reconciliation of all contractual and commercial elements.
- Leading procurement activities and maintaining clear up to date commercial records and documentation. Contract drafting/vetting to ensure compliance with main contract provisions and legal standards, and preparing formal subcontract documentation. Maintaining governance through procurement registers and ensuring all activities adhere to internal protocols and audit requirements.
- Collaborating with Client, Project Managers, Commercial Managers, and engineering teams to ensure alignment on delivering the projects on cost, programme and contractual obligation.
- Responsible for the timely preparation, substantiation and submission of monthly interim application for payment, in strict accordance with the procedural requirements and timelines stipulated with the governing conditions of contracts.
- Participating in project reviews, advising on commercial strategy, risk exposure and opportunity optimization.
JOB TIME: Full Time
SALARY RANGE: $135,000.00 TO $150,000.00/year
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 4 years of experience in job offered or 4 years of experience in the Related Occupation.
