Job Details Our Lead Clinical Nursing Supervisor will: Assume many of the coordinating functions of the Clinical Supervisor group, including trouble shooting the schedule, representing the supervisors at department and house wide meetings, and coordinating communications with staff and other supervisory groups, inter and intra disciplinary. Manage daily clinical nursing operations to ensure the hospital standards and needs are met. Be responsible for preparation and evaluation of nursing staff activities and schedules to ensure 24 hour coverage. What you’ll bring: Passion for Nursing Leadership 3+ Years acute care clinical RN experience Prior house-wide Nursing Supervision experience preferred; critical care/emergency nursing experience preferred 2-5+ Years leadership/healthcare management experience preferred Knowledge of hospital and nursing policies and procedures, as well as regulatory agency requirements, and establishment of staffing patterns and schedules. Candidate must be able to handle stressful situations, and exercise considerable judgement in applying professional knowledge in solving administrative/operational problems. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required. Salary Range USD $63.00 - USD $70.00 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
