Comply with training requirements as established by the Career Development Program. Observe, learn, and gain hands-on experience in a variety of HR functions. Perform administrative work, including scheduling, maintaining personnel files and sorting mail for the Human Resources department. Develop skills in using Microsoft Office software applications, especially Excel and Word. Assist HR staff with specific duties: Performs front-desk duties; answers telephones, takes and delivers messages, refers calls to proper HR staff Assist HRIS Analyst with creating and distributing Personnel/Payroll Action Notices (PAN) for Payroll Processing Assist Recruiters with assembling and collecting required new hire paperwork Coordinate logistics for new hire orientations and employee training sessions May perform other basic HR-related tasks in conjunction with other HR Analysts and staff Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the wellbeing of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities. Must be an enrolled Muckleshoot Tribal member. Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
