As Quality Assurance Manager, you lead quality assurance across natural gas infrastructure projects from planning through turnover. You partner with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to confirm work meets company standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications. Your role reduces rework, supports safe execution, and improves readiness for startup and long-term operations

Responsibilities/Expectations:
Leads field quality execution across construction, fabrication, and turnover activities
Directs QA/QC and inspection support across welding, coatings, mechanical, electrical, and NDT scopes
Partners with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to align quality requirements early
Reviews drawings, scopes, ITPs, welding procedures, test plans, inspections, and turnover packages to confirm compliance and readiness
Applies quality standards aligned with ASME, API, AWS, DOT/PHMSA, OSHA, and company requirements
Tracks nonconformances and drives root cause analysis and corrective actions to reduce rework and punch list carryover
Monitors contractor quality performance and supports qualification, execution, and issue resolution
Develops and manages quality reporting, documentation, and audit processes
Conducts audits of field inspection activities and documentation to confirm adherence to standards
Supports construction closeout and system handoff to operations with complete and accurate records
Provides onsite leadership and guidance to inspection and QA/QC teams
Collaborates with project managers and stakeholders to improve execution, handoff, and startup readiness
Ensures safety remains the top priority across all quality activitiesAccountable for front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management

Education/Years of Experience:
Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of six (6) years’ related experience and CCM (CMAA) Certification
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
Must be able to:
Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools
Other Requirements:
Required: AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Preferred: NACE or AMPP Coating Inspector certification (Level 1, 2, or 3)
Demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Uses Microsoft Office applications effectively
Maintains valid driver’s license and clean driving record
