The PCT Demand Generation Manager is a senior individual contributor role responsible for driving demand generation, market expansion, and adoption of Thermo Fisher Scientific’s PCT biomarker portfolio across Vietnam.

This role plays a pivotal role in accelerating growth by shaping market demand, influencing key stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality execution of strategic demand generation initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role partners closely with distributors, internal commercial teams, product management, and regional/global stakeholders to translate strategy into measurable business impact.

Key Business Objectives & Priorities

  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and increased adoption of PCT through strategic and high-impact demand generation execution.
  • Establish PCT as a standard-of-care biomarker across priority segments, including:
    • Acute care hospitals
    • Emergency departments and ICUs
    • Respiratory medicine, pediatrics, and infectious disease
    • Clinical laboratories and emerging segments
  • Lead the localization and execution of demand generation strategy aligned with regional/global PCT direction.
  • Enable distributors/partners and commercial teams with strong value propositions, clinical evidence, and engagement tools.
  • Build and expand a strong network of KOLs and key stakeholders to accelerate advocacy and adoption.

Scope of Responsibility

Individual contributor (no direct reports):

  • Full ownership of demand generation strategy execution and outcomes in Vietnam.

Geographic scope:

  • Laboratory professionals
  • Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and academic societies
  • Distribution and license partners

Strategic influence:

  • Provide strong input into annual operating plans, demand forecasts, partner strategy, and mid- to long-term growth initiatives.
  • Act as the local market expert, contributing insights to regional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute comprehensive demand generation plans tailored to the Vietnam market.
  • Lead high-impact scientific and educational initiatives (e.g., symposia, workshops, hospital programs).
  • Develop and localize compelling, evidence-based value messaging.
  • Drive strong collaboration and alignment with distributors/partners to ensure execution excellence.
  • Identify, engage, and develop KOLs to build advocacy and clinical endorsement.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity, and customer insights to refine strategies.
  • Track, analyze, and report KPIs, ensuring accountability for business outcomes.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements.

Unique Challenges & Expectations

Market shaping and development:
Vietnam represents a growth and developing market, requiring proactive efforts in awareness building, education, and demand creation.

Influence without authority:
Success depends on the ability to influence distributors, stakeholders, and internal teams without direct control.

Translating strategy into execution:
Requires strong ownership in converting regional/global strategy into impactful local execution.

Healthcare system complexity:
Navigate diverse hospital structures, procurement processes, and evolving reimbursement environments.

High autonomy and accountability:
