About the Role
The Senior Manager Managed Services is a senior leadership role within Roboyo’s Managed Services (MS) organisation. Positioned above the Service Delivery Manager and Lead Engineer roles, this position provides cross-engagement oversight, strategic leadership, and technical governance. You will ensure that multiple client engagements consistently achieve SLA targets, deliver high-quality technical outcomes, and maintain strong financial performance.
This role reports to the APAC Regional Manager and you’ll be working within a Global MS framework, however being able to work independently is critical to the success of this role. You will be responsible for the growth and development of a rapidly growing team of currently nearly 40 in India. This role is ideal for someone who seeks to showcase their ability to build a successful organisation and combines expert people and operational leadership with strong technical understanding and excels in high-stakes client interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the growth and development of a rapidly growing team of engineers and service delivery experts working 24x7 supporting customers around the world.
- Lead a portfolio of managed services engagements, ensuring consistent SLA achievement, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Act as the escalation point for complex issues across engagements.
- Ensure service objects meet Roboyo’s quality, architecture, and documentation standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery and engineering teams.
- Participate in executive-level client discussions, governance sessions, and strategic planning.
- Identify systemic risks and implement cross-engagement remediation strategies.
- Support capability development and workforce planning across the Managed Services organization.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in managed services, automation engineering, or technical delivery leadership.
- Understanding of automation platforms, architecture principles, and engineering best practices.
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple engagements.
- Exceptional communication skills, especially with senior stakeholders and executives.
- Demonstrated success in improving SLA performance, service quality, and operational maturity.
- Ability to coach and develop leaders across both technical and delivery tracks.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities across a portfolio.
