About the role

We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Designer with a 360-degree approach to join our dynamic team at Sporty Group. As a Social Media Designer, you will play a vital role in creating visually captivating and engaging content for our social media platforms, primarily focusing on video and photo production.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio that demonstrates their ability to deliver outstanding artwork and compelling visuals, with a flair for sports, especially football, and a keen awareness of current trends in football designs, memes, and internet culture.

Role Overview:

Content Design & Social Media

Create visual assets for social media platforms, including match posts, highlights, announcements, thumbnails, and engagement-driven content.
Develop and adapt templates to ensure consistency and speed across daily content production.
Translate editorial ideas into strong, scroll-stopping visuals aligned with platform dynamics.

Broadcast & Graphic Packages

Support the creation of graphic elements for live broadcasts, including scoreboards, lower thirds, transitions, and overlays.
Assist in developing and maintaining visual packages for different competitions and shows.
Ensure visual consistency across broadcast and digital environments.

Institutional & Marketing Materials

Design presentations, pitch decks, and institutional materials.
Create promotional assets for campaigns, partnerships, and branded content.
Support internal teams with visual solutions for different business needs.

Motion & Animation (Plus)

Contribute to simple animations and motion graphics when needed (social posts, transitions, promos).
Collaborate with video and content teams to enhance visual storytelling through motion.

Multi-Platform Execution

Adapt designs for different formats and platforms (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
Work closely with social, editorial, and video teams to align creative output with content strategy.
Handle multiple requests simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines.


Requirements:

Experience

Experience as a graphic designer, preferably in digital media, sports, or content-driven environments.
Portfolio demonstrating strong visual execution across different formats (social, branding, presentations, etc.).

Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
Good working knowledge of design tools such as Illustrator, Indesign, Figma, or Canva.
Basic understanding of motion tools (After Effects or similar) is a plus.
Understanding of formats, dimensions, and best practices for digital platforms.

Creative Skills

Strong sense of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy.
Ability to create clean, modern, and engaging designs under tight deadlines.
Awareness of digital trends and platform-specific visual language.

Behavioral Skills

Organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
Proactive and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.
Collaborative mindset, working closely with different teams.
Strong sense of ownership over deliveries, from briefing to final asset.
