About the role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join Bolt Food’s Merchant Strategy & Planning team in Tallinn. In this role, you will be an analytical partner to our commercial and operations teams, helping them make faster, better-informed decisions across pricing, marketplace efficiency, sales performance, and operational performance.
You will work closely with stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Enterprise, Enablement, and Operations, turning business questions into clear analysis, dashboards, recommendations, and measurable impact. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who can work independently, communicate clearly, and connect data insights to business outcomes.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Own analysis for pricing, supply and demand dynamics, marketplace efficiency, sales performance, commission, compensation, CAC/LTV, and other commercial performance topics.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-serve tools that help commercial and operations teams make data-driven decisions independently.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, structure ambiguous questions, and translate them into actionable analysis.
- Identify performance gaps, reporting issues, and opportunities for improvement, then recommend practical solutions.
- Support experiments by helping define hypotheses, design tests, interpret results, and turn findings into recommendations.
- Improve data quality, metric definitions, and analytics processes in collaboration with other analysts and data teams.
About you:
- You are confident working independently and can take an analysis from a business question through to a clear recommendation.
- You have strong SQL skills and are comfortable writing complex queries using CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and large datasets.
- You have strong analytical rigour and can choose the right methodology to answer ambiguous business questions.
- You are commercially minded and understand topics such as marketplace dynamics, pricing logic, unit economics, sales efficiency, or operational performance.
- You have experience building dashboards or reporting tools for non-technical stakeholders using BI or data visualisation tools.
- You are a clear communicator who can explain insights simply and influence decisions with data.
Experience is great, but what we really look for is drive, intelligence, and integrity. So even if you don’t tick every box, please consider applying!
Why you’ll love it here:
- Accelerate your professional growth with unique career opportunities.
- Enjoy a rewarding salary and stock options, knowing that as Bolt succeeds, so do you.
