Job Summary:
As the Data Quality Manager at HUB24, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of the data quality function—ensuring data is accurate, reliable, and fit for purpose across business operations. This is a key leadership opportunity (based in Sydney or Melbourne) responsible for shaping and elevating data quality across the organisation.You’ll lead a team of data professionals while partnering closely with Technology, Risk, Product, and Operations to embed strong data governance practices and uplift reporting standards. With ownership of the InvestigateDQ (IDQ) platform, this role sits at the centre of driving smarter decision-making, reducing risk, and strengthening operational excellence through high-quality data.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach and develop a high-performing data team
- Own and enhance data quality frameworks, controls, and business rules
- Deliver data quality initiatives that improve accuracy, integrity, and governance
- Partner with Technology, Risk, and Operations to embed best practice data standards
- Manage the InvestigateDQ (IDQ) platform, including configuration and vendor relationships
- Support financial crime controls across fraud, monitoring, and screening
- Oversee critical data reporting (e.g. EOFY), ensuring accuracy and reliability
- Identify and resolve data issues, improving pipelines and processes
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-led decision making
Requirements:
- Strong experience in data quality, governance, and strategy
- Hands-on expertise with SQL and data quality tools (IDQ highly regarded)
- Experience working with enterprise data platforms (e.g. Databricks)
- Background in Financial Services (superannuation experience a plus)
- Proven leadership experience developing and mentoring teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Passion for continuous improvement and leveraging technology to drive outcomes
