The Role We’re looking for a Senior Designer (AI-Focused) to own and elevate the visual output of our marketing organization. This is a highly hands-on production role focused on creating high-quality digital assets across web, campaigns, social, email, events, and advertising. You’ll work across the full marketing ecosystem — designing everything from landing pages and paid ad creatives to newsletters and social campaigns — while maintaining a consistent, scalable visual identity across all touchpoints. AI tools are central to how this role operates. We’re looking for someone who already uses generative AI and AI-assisted design workflows daily to accelerate ideation, production, and creative iteration. You understand where AI adds value, where craft and judgment still matter most, and how to combine both effectively. This is not a traditional art direction role. You’ll be the person creating, refining, shipping, and scaling the work. What You’ll Be Doing Website Design (xtm.ai) Web Experience & Visual Design Design UI elements, page layouts, banners, hero sections, icons, illustrations, and supporting visuals for the XTM website Create visuals that support both brand storytelling and conversion goals Design with usability, responsiveness, and performance in mind Collaboration & Handoff Deliver production-ready assets for implementation within HubSpot CMS Partner closely with the HubSpot & Web Operations Specialist to ensure smooth execution and consistency AI-Enhanced Workflow Use AI tools to rapidly prototype layout concepts and visual directions Generate and refine AI-assisted imagery, textures, illustrations, and visual components aligned with brand standards Campaign Materials & Creative Production This is a high-output role responsible for producing a wide range of marketing assets across channels. Paid Media & Social Design paid advertising creatives across platforms including Google Display and LinkedIn Produce multiple creative variations and formats for campaign testing and optimization Create organic social content including static posts, carousels, stories, banners, and cover visuals Landing Pages & Events Design campaign landing page visuals for HubSpot implementation Create webinar and event assets including promotional graphics, presentation decks, and digital signage AI-Assisted Production Use AI workflows to accelerate concept generation, creative iteration, and stakeholder review cycles Adapt and extend existing assets using AI-powered editing and enhancement tools Email & Newsletter Design Email Experiences Design and produce marketing email templates including newsletters, nurture campaigns, event invitations, and product announcements Ensure all email designs are responsive, accessible, and optimized across major email clients Scalable Email Systems Build reusable modular email components within HubSpot that allow efficient campaign assembly without requiring design support for every send Use AI-assisted workflows to create personalized visual variants for segmented campaigns Brand Consistency & Design Systems Brand Stewardship Maintain and evolve the XTM visual identity across all digital touchpoints Ensure consistency across web, social, email, advertising, and event experiences Design Systems & Scalability Build and maintain scalable Figma design systems including components, tokens, templates, and documentation Create reusable assets and templates that support efficient collaboration across teams AI at Scale Use AI tools to generate localized assets, seasonal variations, A/B test creatives, and scalable campaign adaptations while maintaining brand quality
Experience & Portfolio 3–5 years of hands-on digital design experience Strong portfolio demonstrating work across web, email, social, campaign, and digital marketing assets Experience working in high-volume creative production environments Design & Technical Skills Strong proficiency with: Figma (including components, auto-layout, and design systems) Canva AI-powered design and image generation tools Digital campaign asset production Responsive web and email design principles Experience with HTML email template design within HubSpot or a comparable ESP is highly desirable. Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus. AI & Creative Workflow Expertise Active daily user of AI-assisted creative tools Strong understanding of where AI workflows accelerate production effectively Ability to balance speed, creativity, quality, and brand consistency Interest in staying current with evolving AI design technologies and workflows Nice to Have Experience creating motion graphics, animated assets, or short-form explainer videos using AI-assisted workflows Ways of Working We’re looking for someone who combines creativity with execution excellence.
