Job description
- Proactively search for and identify new projects and clients — including housing societies, and other relevant channels — to grow the customer base.
- Understand client requirements and present product solutions that best satisfy their needs in terms of quality, pricing, and timely delivery.
- Offer hands-on product knowledge, conduct demonstrations, and provide pre-sales technical assistance to clients, contractors, and applicators.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets; support and coordinate sales initiatives and project-specific solutions.
- Monitor outstanding payments, follow up for collections, and ensure timely recovery in coordination with the finance team.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Construction Management or related fields
- 4- 7 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in construction chemicals or building materials
- Have a presentable and pleasant personality
- Sound IT Skills and strong grip on MS Office and understanding of Sales Force etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Sound understanding of construction industry dynamics, project lifecycle, and application techniques
- Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing client relationships
- Willingness to travel and work on-site with clients as needed
