General Characteristics

• Responsible for OVERALL medical management, medical evaluation for workers, controlling Site clinic and medical staff

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide medical examination and treatment for work related illnesses and injuries
• Provide advice on hygiene and methods of disease prevention.
• Perform emergency procedures to sustain life, to repair injuries, or prevent diseases.
• Respond to emergency situations and directs medical care accordingly.
• Maintain ongoing relationship with local Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel.
• Assist with the planning and development of cost effective procedures and programs for administering health services and promoting general health maintenance.
• Monitor patients’ recovery and rehabilitation as appropriate

• Doctoral’s degree

Experience

• Experience in medical treatment

Knowledge

• Comprehensive knowledge on overall medical

Training

• Occupational health and safety regulations and standards
• Emergency medical care and treatment protocols for industrial settings
• Medical equipment, supplies, and medication use in an industrial medical setting
• Medical record-keeping and documentation
• Infectious disease prevention and control measures
• Telemedicine and remote medical consultation practices
• Emergency response and disaster management protocols
• Leadership and management courses

Technical Competency

• In-depth knowledge of medical diagnosis and treatment for work-related illnesses and injuries
• Ability to perform emergency procedures to sustain life, repair injuries, or prevent diseases
• Understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and standards
• Knowledge of medical equipment, supplies, and medications commonly used in an industrial medical setting
• Ability to analyze medical data and records to make informed decisions about patient care
