Data privacy is a big deal. You'll help make sure Endeavour is doing it right. Especially with all the new privacy, tech and AI developments in Australia and around the world, this is one of the most exciting spaces to be in at the moment. We are looking for someone who is highly knowledgeable and passionate about privacy, great with people, and ready to dive into a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
This senior position supports the Privacy Lead as a key member of the Privacy Team. The role's primary objective is to enhance Endeavour's privacy compliance and help implement a comprehensive privacy framework across the organisation. The role is hybrid - based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Your core responsibilities will include providing expert privacy advice, conducting complex privacy impact assessments, developing and maintaining policies, standards and guidelines, and assisting in the management of privacy incidents and regulatory notifications as well as delivering privacy training and education to the business.
You’ll also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Cyber, Compliance, Technology and Data Governance as well as various Business Units and functions, to strengthen the company's privacy culture, contribute to the development and delivery of privacy training programs and participate in strategic initiatives related to data privacy, including the responsible use of data and AI.
This is a great career opportunity for an experienced legal or privacy professional who wants to undertake diverse, cutting edge privacy work, further their privacy skills, drive the delivery of a privacy framework and gain exposure to AI, data and emerging tech, with plenty of responsibility, autonomy and learning and development opportunities.
