What We Need:
We’re seeking a Broadcast Producer to assist with planning and producing live and pre‑recorded radio programming, supporting news, music, talk, sports, traffic, and feature content while coordinating show elements and ensuring smooth, on‑air execution in a fast‑paced environment.
What You'll Do:
Generate original ideas, encourage ideation from others, and carry out thorough research
Research information, obtain materials and assist with contacting and scheduling guests
Give direction to presenters, content providers, assistants and other crew members
Manage budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources
Obtain permission or licenses for recording or broadcasting on location, and for the use of music, sound effects and audio archive material
Monitor listener emails, inquiries and responses related to shows
Work in collaboration with presenters, performers or other program contributors, in order to perform quality assurance to meet established production standards, rules and regulations
Use various broadcasting technologies such as soundboards and editing/production software
Schedule and monitors the radio stream during live recordings
Assist with time-keeping, saving show recordings, archiving show files and post-production editing as directed
What You'll Need:
A creative and strategic communicator with a proven ability to generate original ideas and express them clearly across multiple platforms and audiences. Possesses strong writing and research skills, with experience tailoring content to meet the needs of our target audience and distribution channels. Comfortable developing compelling narratives for broadcast, digital, and written media while maintaining accuracy, tone, and audience engagement.
Well-versed in news, current events, and cultural trends, with the ability to quickly synthesize information and present it in a clear, engaging, and informative way. Demonstrates strong editorial judgment and an understanding of how timely, relevant content connects with audiences in fast-paced media environments. Adept at conducting thorough research to support storytelling and ensure credibility.
What You'll Bring:
Assist the host and co-host producing The Ryan Gorman Show.
Edit and refine copy for clarity and impact; organize stories for seamless on-air delivery.
Research breaking news and trending topics to provide accurate, timely details.
Curate and manage audio elements to enhance show quality and listener engagement.
Book and coordinate guest interviews, ensuring smooth scheduling and logistics.
Prepare in-depth research on guest topics to support informed and dynamic conversations.
Close attention to detail, following up until issues are resolved
Collaborate with the host and team for superior on-air product. Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return
Ability to work within standardized procedures and an understanding of when to escalate
Skills to solve straightforward problems using established procedures
Common courtesy when communicating with coworkers and outside contacts
