Kitchen Porter - Pyrford Lakes Golf Club

Get Golfing CIO is seeking a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Porter to join our team at Pyrford Lakes Golf Club for seasonal support. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen & bar, ensuring it meets all health and safety standards. You will work alongside a team of experienced kitchen & front of house staff, gaining valuable experience and knowledge of the food and beverage industry. Responsibilities Ensuring all kitchen & bar equipment and utensils are washed, dried, and put away properly. Maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Helping with the preparation and plating of dishes. Assisting with stock control and ensuring all deliveries are stored correctly. Reporting all maintenance issues to the kitchen manager. Assisting the chefs with basic food preparation tasks. Laundry Back of house cleanliness, store rooms, ice machines, assisting with weekly line cleans.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. A positive attitude and willingness to learn. Good communication skills and an ability to work well in a team. Willingness to maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene. Good timekeeping and organisational skills. Previous kitchen experience preferred, but not essential. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings Hourly Rate £12.96 Contract until the end of September, with a potential extension subject to review.
