About this opportunity

We are seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be the key link between our customers, sales team, and supply chain – ensuring a seamless customer experience from order through to delivery. You’ll manage an allocated customer base, support internal sales activity, and play a critical role in driving customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage an allocated customer base, building strong relationships to drive revenue growth 
  • Actively identify and capture new sales opportunities, supporting the Sales team
  • Partner closely with Sales to support quoting, pricing, forecasting, and customer growth initiatives
  • Deliver a high level of service across all customer interactions while proactively upselling and promoting products and solutions
  • Manage customer orders end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and alignment with commercial outcomes
  • Work closely with supply chain and operations to optimise delivery outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate customer, pricing, and sales data in SAP and CRM systems 
  • Resolve customer enquiries, discrepancies, and issues with a focus on protecting revenue and strengthening relationships
  • Support key commercial activities including credit processes, pricing updates, rebates, and contract adherence
  • Contribute to Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and broader business initiatives 

Your skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

  • Experience in customer service, internal sales, or order management
  • Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments (highly regarded)
  • Strong systems experience, ideally SAP and/or Dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to support team success
