As an IT business analyst, you’ll help develop leading-edge applications and systems. Working with your team of business and IT system analysts, you’ll help identify clients’ business needs, gather user requirements, and develop user stories. You’ll learn to understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll support your team as they fulfill these needs by creating deployable features. Together, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high business value products to our clients. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have: 

• 1+ years of experience working in a professional environment
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience with data analysis
• Experience with business analysis using web-based systems
• Experience with customer service and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting the phases of the systems development lifecycle
• Knowledge of Data Governance governing principles
• Ability to multitask and respond to tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL to execute queries
• Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle
• Ability to learn new software tools and techniques quickly
• Ability to communicate with end users using business-friendly and user-friendly language
• Ability to be self-motivated and directed
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to effectively respond to user queries
• Possession of excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $43,700.00 to $90,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
