We are seeking a trusted, ‘value-add’ Human Resources Manager who can manage high impact Human Resource functions in a high growth facility including staffing, performance management, talent development, positive employee relations, as well as helping to create an inclusive environment where all employees can do their best work.
This role reports to the HR Director and works closely with the local leadership team and workforce, as well as HR colleagues across the organization.
You will have the opportunity to:
Serve as a strong HR business partner to the Newton Leadership Team. This includes partnering with the leadership team on change initiatives in the facility and, at times, it may require being the dissenting opinion
Lead and collaborate employee relations matters and conduct/support investigations where applicable. Anticipate challenges and recommend innovative solutions, in partnership with leadership for problems
Deploy HR processes and initiatives to support business objectives and advance the people agenda including compensation, performance management, staffing, workforce development, employee relations, and succession planning. Drive successful execution of the performance management process with internal customers including supporting performance calibration sessions; coaching leaders on tough conversations; creating performance improvement plans and development plans
Build positive relationships across all levels; be a trusted advisor to business leaders and employees, providing coaching and direction in HR related matters
Participate in HR continuous improvement initiatives at the local and across the businesses level
Keep abreast of employment law changes and trends that impact the business
Leading change throughout the facility including but not limited to cultural changes. This may include identifying action items from employee engagement survey and driving the completion of those action items
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Responsible for all Workday transactions for employees at the site
Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team to support recruiting needs on a regular basis
Responsible for successfully on-boarding new hires
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent
A minimum of five years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in a collaborative, matrixed environment with track record of achieving results
Strong level of experience coaching and influencing senior leaders; sophisticated skills in coaching and driving thoughtful and collaborative solutions with senior leaders
Experience in a regulated industry a plus
Strong leadership skills are a must
Problem-solver, Self-starter, organized, and detailed-oriented
Strong relationship building and collaboration skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and cross-businesses
Strong project management skills
Positive attitude
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
IT Savvy and proficient in Microsoft office applications and Workday is preferred
Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations
Strong team player who enjoys interaction with people of all levels in an organization
Solid communication skills - both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to interface with employees at all levels and to communicate through multiple channels up, down, and across
Excellent interpersonal skills and has ability to work with minimum supervision, takes initiative and proactively seeks areas for improvement
Salary range: $108,900 - $148,470*
*The salary range listed is a guide for this position and may vary depending on experience, education, geographic location, and other qualifications. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's individual merits and the company's compensation policies.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
