About the opportunity SWCA Environmental Consultants is looking for a Learning & Development Partnert (HR Title= Talent Development Partner) to join our growing Human Resources department. This person is a critical part of the success of SWCA’s national Talent Development program and will support the design, delivery, and administration of learning and development initiatives across the organization. The Learning & Development Partner will interact daily with HR partners, leaders, and employees to ensure effective delivery of development programs, from program coordination through participant experience and reporting. This person will need to be flexible in their ability to assist the overall HR group when needed – the role will require an individual who is adaptable, a creative problem solver, and able to anticipate their internal customers’ needs. The position will report to our Phoenix Corporate SWCA location; however, the work can be completed remotely from any location in the United States. This is a remote, full-time, regular (with benefits), and salaried position. Please submit a cover letter to be considered for this role . What you will accomplish Collaborates with SMEs and stakeholders to create effective, measurable learning objectives, resulting in e-learning modules, virtual and in-person training events, job aids, and interactive activities that drive organizational learning and results. Manages projects, creating project plans and timelines, tracking progress, reporting updates to supervisors, facilitating team and stakeholder communication, and conducting peer reviews to ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Designs and delivers training sessions, assists with preparation and setup, engages participants using interactive techniques, and provides logistical support during training events. Conducts needs analyses by collaborating with stakeholders to identify specific training needs and objectives on projects. Gathers supporting data from various sources and provides support in conducting comprehensive needs analysis. Designs and implements evaluation programs to measure the effectiveness of small projects using Kirkpatrick's Model. Communicates results and collaborates with stakeholders to determine future training needs. Serves as an LMS co-administrator, providing first-level support to employees, leverages AI-powered tools to enhance content development and learner engagement, manages virtual training environments, and creates/maintains relevant documentation on SharePoint. Stays current on industry trends and best practices in instructional design, leadership development, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML) and shares findings with the Talent Development team. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and manages logistics for in-person learning events and developmental assessments (e.g., DiSC). Collaborates with external training providers and uses content effectively. Seeks opportunities to incorporate valuable resources to ensure cost efficiency. Follows applicable federal, Tribal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, and specifications. Performs related work as assigned. Takes responsibility for team safety, developing safety plans (when applicable), and anticipating potential safety hazards. Experience and qualifications for success Minimum qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design/Technology, Education, Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, Psychology, Business or related field. Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources required Experience in Talent Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or an equivalent combination of experience, training, performance. Demonstrated experience coordinating and administering learning programs, training logistics, systems, and communications. Proven ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional partners such as HR, IT, Payroll, and business leaders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with employees, leaders, internal team members, and external partners. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team. Preferred qualifications : Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in Human Resources/Talent Development Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS).
