Assistant Waiter/Waitress

As an Assistant Waiter/Waitress, you will assist a Waiter with the service for food and beverage of an assigned station/team in the restaurant, providing guests with courteous and professional service, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere, and enhancing the overall dining experience by anticipating guest needs. What you’ll do General assistance to Waiters in the service of food and beverages to guests Clean, organize and maintain designated service station Remove dishes, glassware, and cutlery from guests' tables Fill salt, pepper, sugar, and condiment containers Prepare mise-en-place to ensure that the station is ready when required Provide attentive and personalized service to ensure that guest requests are fulfilled promptly Inform the Waiters about any event that may occur during the service time or request from the guests that need special attention General assistance in setting up tables, including linens, silverware, and glassware Room service and table-side service Polish glassware, cutlery and flatware Maintain clean and orderly tables and station

Previous relevant work experience, preferably in a 5* hotel environment Excellent knowledge of the English language Attentiveness and patience for customers Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Active listening and effective communication skills Team spirit
