Senior Drupal Backend Developer

Advansys is seeking a skilled Senior Drupal Backend Developer to join our innovative development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend components of Drupal-based web applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal modules and backend functionalities. Implement and optimize APIs and integrations with third-party services. Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to deliver seamless content management experiences. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring the reliability and security of Drupal applications. Participate in architectural discussions and provide recommendations for Drupal best practices. Contribute to code reviews and maintain coding standards within the team. Ensure proper documentation and testing of backend features. Stay current with Drupal updates, modules, and community trends to continually enhance application functionality.

Minimum of 4 years experience in Drupal backend development. Strong proficiency with PHP and experience in Drupal 7, 8, or 9 development. Experience in developing custom Drupal modules and themes. Knowledge of Drupal APIs, hooks, and caching mechanisms. Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL and ability to write efficient SQL queries. Experience with RESTful API development and integration. Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus. Knowledge of Git version control and Agile development methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
