Finance and Valuation Senior Specialist

Investment Analysis (CTI) is responsible for valuation and investment analysis locally, including identification, evaluation and presentation of financially viable renewable energy generation business opportunities. Support the Finance and business development team exploring alternative capital structures aimed at increasing shareholder returns. Lead the financial evaluation of Greenfield and Brownfield projects, providing strategic analysis for M&A and financing structuring in coordination with the corporate office, maximizing business profitability and sustainability for Chile.

• Develop strategic financial analyses for the investment committee, ensuring growth opportunities are evaluated under solid criteria.
• Review the financial evaluation of projects with the CTI corporate team, ensuring coherence and accuracy in economic projections.
• Coordination of M&A and Finance team, both at initial phases (proposing new opportunities) and at advancing the acquisition process.
• Coordinate and analyse the economic-financial modelling process of wind and/or solar business opportunities (new and M&A), supporting the analysis of business strategies.
• Local coordination of mergers process and acquisitions of approved opportunities throughout the investment procedure and executing it in accordance with corporate guidelines.
• Coordination with the different areas of competence (Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance, P, Markets, Projects, Finance) both in Chile and headquarters, in order to properly assess and communicate the opportunities presented.
• Provide economic and financial feasibility analysis for other areas of the company, to support the decision-making process in the development, pre-development and development of renewable energy projects.

• EDUCATION: Economics / Engineering, MBA, MSc Finance
• EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA: Over 5 years of experience in similar roles
• LANGUAGE: Fluent English
• DESIRABLE SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Experience on financial evaluation of greenfield projects portfolio for utilities in the sector. 
• Experience in financial economic modelling of energy projects – greenfield, brownfield and M&A
• Experience in optimizing the financial structuring of renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydropower).
• Experience preparing and presenting complex technical results information to non-technical audiences
