Responsibilities
AI Model Development & Deployment
- Develop, fine-tune, and deploy AI models, including LLM pipelines (e.g., RAG architecture, LLM agents) and traditional ML models (classification, regression, clustering).
- Optimize models for performance, latency, and scalability in production environments.
- Package and expose models via APIs (REST, GraphQL) for integration with applications.
System Integration & MLOps
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI components into end-user applications.
- Build and maintain robust, scalable ML pipelines (data ingestion to inference).
- Apply MLOps principles for model lifecycle management, monitoring, and versioning.
Experimentation & Prototyping
- Rapidly prototype AI/ML solutions for client PoCs or internal innovation.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists on experimentation and evaluation of new models or techniques.
- Conduct performance testing and validation of AI solutions.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work cross-functionally with Product Leads, Data Engineers, and Full-Stack Developers.
- Stay current with advancements in AI/ML, LLMs, and deployment best practices.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, code reviews, and technical mentorship within the team.
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science or related technical field
- 4+ years in AI/ML engineering or related fields
- Demonstrated experience deploying ML models in production
- Strong software engineering foundation in AI-focused projects
Skills
- Strong programming expertise in Python, including AI/ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) and data manipulation (pandas, NumPy)
- Experience with LLM integration and RAGs (LangChain, LlamaIndex, RAG toolkits)
- Familiarity with vector DBs (e.g. FAISS, Pinecone) and knowledge graphs
- Exposure to MLOps practices/tools and solid understanding of ML pipelines/ deployment workflows (MLFlow, containerization with Docker)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
