Garage
Growth Operations Analyst
Salary
Job description
GROWTH OPERATIONS ANALYST AT GARAGE (YC W24)
About us
Garage is building the platform that powers commerce across America's essential industries. We started by serving fire departments, where buying mission-critical vehicles and equipment used to take months of paperwork, phone calls, and waiting. We automate the entire transaction: payments, freight, paperwork, warranty, and financing. Months become minutes.
In under a year, we now serve local governments across all 50 states and have grown revenue >10x. We recently closed a $13.5M Series A ($18M total raised) from Infinity Ventures, Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, FJ Labs, and other top investors. We're early, we're moving fast, and we're just getting started.
About the role
The Growth Ops Analyst is the support engine behind our Growth team. You'll work alongside our Growth Ops Associates to keep the operation running, jumping in wherever the team needs hands. This is an entry-level role built for someone early in their career who wants to touch many parts of a fast-moving business, learn how a startup actually works, and grow into more ownership over time.
You'll move fast, and wear lots of different hats. If you're organized, curious, and energized by a no-task-too-small environment, this is a front-row seat to building a company.
In this role, you will
- Support the Growth team across the customer journey, from qualifying inbound leads through onboarding enterprise users on the platform.
- Leverage customer insights to inform cross-functional decision-making, collaborating with Product, Operations, and Marketing to shape and execute company strategy.
- Partner closely with our Growth Ops Associates and learn the playbook to take on more ownership over time
- Act as an advocate for Garage’s brand, representing our company’s vision and values to current and prospective partners.
We're looking for someone who
- Loves the energy of a high-growth environment where every day looks a little different
- You have good judgement, high integrity, and a no-task-too-small mindset
- Has strong organization skills and can juggle multiple priorities without letting anything fall through the cracks
- Communicates clearly and enjoys talking to customers
- Is a self-starter who takes initiative in ambiguous situations
Qualifications
- 0-1 year of experience (if you’re a recent grad, we’d love to hear from you!)
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Prior internship experience strongly preferred, ideally at a startup, investment banking, consulting, government, or other high-performing business settings
- Excellent organization and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage customers and internal stakeholders
YOU COULD WORK ANYWHERE, SO WHY GARAGE?
- We’ve grown revenue over 10x in the last year and are well capitalized after a recent $13.5M Series A https://techcrunch.com/2025/08/20/yc-backed-garage-raises-13-5m-to-help-firefighters-buy-equipment/ ($18M in funding raised total).
- Our product is something people use everyday to buy the equipment local communities everywhere depend on.
- We have a talent-dense, high-performance team where everyone joining now has an outsized impact.
- What we’ve built works. We’re backed by world-class vendors: Y Combinator, Infinity Ventures, Initialized Capital, FJ Labs, and more.
- You’ll be one of our first 35 employees, operating as a foundational member of the team, partnering alongside the company’s founders.
THE VALUES THAT FUEL US AT GARAGE

- Customer focused. We have a genuine love for our customers. Customer success is our success.
- Hack to success. We move fast and take big swings. We always aim for a solution that addresses 80% of the problem in 20% of the time. We make informed bets, launch quickly, and iterate.
WHAT WE OFFER
- Competitive salary and stock options
- 100% covered health, dental and vision insurance (with additional buy-up options)
- Unlimited paid time off every year in addition to company observed holidays
- Daily lunch & dinner
- $100 / month wellness stipend
- 401(k) w/ employer match to help save for your future
- Pre-tax commuter benefits
- Bi-annual team offsite
- Relocation assistance
We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. We don’t expect you to check all the qualification boxes and encourage you to apply if you have experience in some of the areas.
The base salary for this role is $80,000 to $110,000 USD. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. An employee’s pay position within the wage range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. This compensation range may also be modified in the future.
