*This role could be based in any of our locations, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Auckland - The role is an initial 24m fixed term contract - In line with a major programme of transformation

What you’ll do

The Product Architect has a deep understanding of the business needs and a vision of the product to define requirements and architectural solutions, you’ll provide recommendations that improve performance, capacity, and scalability of the product.

Equifax is embarking on a major digital transformation, our products operate across multiple domains, exposure to new and exciting projects are on the horizon. We’re looking for someone who wants to continue growing and influence a multinational product line.

Prioritize an efficient roadmap that balances short & long term priorities, focusing appropriately on high value opportunities

Identify opportunities using insights, market and customer research

Build business cases and define product vision and strategy

Guide product definition through every stage of the agile software development lifecycle

Drive user experience strategy and design solutions based upon usability, intuitiveness, consistency, business goals and time to market

You’ll have a considerate approach and emotional intelligence to partner with a range of stakeholders nurturing relationships across the business

What are we looking for?

At least 10 years of technology experience with strong business orientation

Experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner or Business Analyst

Experience working with Agile Delivery Teams, utilising Agile / Scrum / Kanban

Strong technical fluency with comfort discussing or diving deep on technology concepts, schedule trade-offs and new opportunities with technical team members; understanding of the entire technology stacks

Strong ability to convey and translate complex technical information across to business stakeholders, and vice-versa, interpreting business requirements into best-practice, technology-centric solutions, acting as the main interface between product and technology.
