Hours: 0700-1600 (8 hour shift)

We are temporarily offering a very generous sign on bonus for experienced OR Nurses. Our outpatient surgery center in Federal Way has two openings for experienced OR Nurses. We can offer 24-40 hours per week with no weekends, no holidays and no on-call. This is a great opportunity for work life balance. These are 8 hour shifts. Our OSC has (2) two OR Outpatient surgical suites. We perform day surgery for adults and pediatrics on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays. We have a small cohesive and collaborative team. Surgical specialties include Orthopedic, Podiatry, General Surgery, ENT, GYN,Vascular and Urology. The Ambulatory OR Circulating Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high quality, skilled nursing services to assist patients to achieve optimum health, functional health status and safe passage while receiving an invasive surgical or interventional procedure during an episodic or series of visits.

As an Ambulatory OR Circulating Registered Nurse you will

• Demonstrate technical expertise while supporting the patient and the care team during the episodic visit where interventions and procedures occur.

• Use the nursing process to support a patient in achieving an optimal level of wellness as defined by the patient.

• The Ambulatory OR Registered Nurse assists patients to achieve optimum functional health status and safe passage throughout their procedural experience.

• Provides skilled assessment and triage, education, collaboration and coordination of healthcare and community resources,

• The Ambulatory OR Registered Nurse assists patients/families, staff and systems to achieve high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective, and patient-focused outcomes.

• Nursing care provided by the registered nurse reflects the nursing process through an integration of knowledge, skills, experience, and attitudes needed to meet the needs of patients and families .

Qualifications

• Current Washington State licensure as an RN

• CPR certification is required every two years

• Bachelors of Science of Nursing

• Strong patient assessment skills, ability to work collaboratively in team setting, current working knowledge of electronic medical records.

Sign on bonus and relocation bonus available for experienced OR Nurses.

Ideal candidates will have current or recent OR circulating experience and ACLS. PALS is also strongly preferred.
