Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst

The Employer Services Business Intelligence Analyst will work with Business Unit leaders and clients to create solutions that meet their requirements and leverage data to analyze business problems. Complete projects using real data sets from the worlds of finance, healthcare, government, and more. Use your portfolio to demonstrate that you can use your data skills to solve real business problems. The BI Analyst will partner with sales, account management, operations, data engineering and product development teams to design visualizations and maintain BI reporting and dashboards. The BI Analyst may provide technical project management and collaborate with project managers, architects, developers, database administrators, operations, and Quality Assurance team members in the design and implementation of dashboards and reporting. He/she will also ensure Equifax standards are maintained for system design, scalability, performance, and technical features.

What You’ll Do

•

Utilize SQL and/or Google Big Query to mine large amounts of data and perform data analysis to extract useful business insights for a wide range of topics including financial performance, internal operations, and external research.

•

Design analysis and data modeling, reports, queries, dashboards, and maintain data pipelines, working primarily with Spotfire, Tableau

•

Drive business intelligence infrastructure improvements and translate metrics and analysis into formats that enable supported teams to quickly and easily derive relevant information.

•

Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective solutions to clients

•

Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders to review and refine requirements

•

Provide clients with ongoing support for applications (including running weekly and monthly reporting and ad hoc requests)

•

Keep technical skills and knowledge of Equifax technologies current

•

Stay abreast of current best practices in systems analysis and design

What Experience You’ll Need

•

Bachelor's degree in business, software engineering or computer science

•

4+ years of experience in the technical field or related area

•

4+ years of experience working with Business Intelligence, including Spotfire and Tableau

•

3-5 years’ experience working with SQL/Google Cloud BigQuery

Project Management experience

•

Excellent analytical and design skills, good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation, and understanding of entire development process

•

Familiarity with Data Warehousing
