We are temporarily offering a very generous sign on bonus for experienced OR RNs. Virginia Mason has a brand new Operating Room RN opening available. This is a Night shift position . Hours are 9 PM-7:30 AM. This is a great opportunity for an experienced OR RN to work 10 hour shifts 4 nights per week with a night shift pay premium. Best part? No weekends and no on-call required!!

With 27 surgical suites, we perform over 15,000 surgeries per year in a variety of service lines which allow our nurses a great variety of cases. We are proud to be designated a Center of Excellence for total joints, complex spine surgeries as well as solid organ transplants. We also perform surgery for cochlear implants, strokes, TAVR, hybrid vascular procedures, cardiac, ENT, OTO, GYN, neurosurgery, orthopedics and sports medicine. We are also one of few centers to offer isolated limb infusion (ILI) for the treatment of metastatic melanoma . Our plastic and reconstructive surgery team also performs transfeminine gender-affirming surgery. Responsibilities

The registered nurse provides high quality, skilled nursing services

Assists the patients to achieve optimum health and functional health status following an illness requiring hospitalization.

Collaborating with physicians and other health care professionals, the Registered Nurse prepares the patient and family for discharge to home or another setting for continued care.

Qualifications

• A current and valid Washington State Registered Nurse License is required for this position.

• Recent operating room experience as an RN preferred.

• CPR certification required every two years or as specified by the work.

• The main OR offers a set schedule. This is a Monday-Thursday schedule. No weekends and no on-call

We are offering a great sign on bonus and relocation bonus for experienced OR RNs.

This position will be responsible for the night shift urgent and emergent cases in the OR. In addition, this position is responsible for completing the AM room set-ups.
