Technical Architect - Shanghai

UNS is currently looking for Technical Architects from LDI , strong in detailing and familiar with China codes and requirements to join our Shanghai office.

Skills

•

5-8 years of experience as an All-Around Architect, with extensive international experience during design development, construction documentation, and construction administration stages

•

Candidates should ideally come from an LDI background, hold a valid license in China, demonstrate strong detailing capabilities, and be thoroughly familiar with local Chinese codes and requirements

•

Technical problem solver with the ability to work out architectural solutions through innovative thinking (documented through construction and shop drawings/details)

•

Experience in producing façade, architectural, interior finish and interface details is a must

•

Knowledge of products, materials and typical construction methods, especially in Asia

•

Proactive and self-motivated, with a continuous desire to both learn from and mentor others

•

Strong aesthetic sensibilities and design skills

•

Fluent English communication skills (reading and writing); fluent Mandarin communication skills (reading and writing) are beneficial but not required

•

Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD is required, with proficient knowledge of Revit and/or Rhinoceros favorable
