Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Personal Injury Case Manager with at least 2 years of experience handling liability, property damage, and bodily injury claims. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and a solid understanding of insurance processes in PI claims.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of Personal Injury (PI) files from intake through resolution.
  • Evaluate liability by obtaining facts of loss, gathering evidence, reviewing reports, and working with insurers to help secure liability acceptance.
  • Assess insurance coverages , including identifying applicable policy limits and exclusions.
  • Coordinate property damage claims, including arranging vehicle repairs, total loss handling, and identifying additional property impacts beyond the vehicle (e.g., personal items, structures, electronics).
  • Oversee bodily injury management by scheduling and coordinating medical treatment, monitoring patient progress, and ensuring treatment aligns with policy limits and property damage outcomes.
  • Communicate with providers, adjusters, attorneys, and clients to ensure cases progress efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, updates, and follow-ups within case management systems.
  • Assist in preparing case summaries, demand packages, and settlement documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience in Personal Injury case management or insurance claims handling.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Liability: obtaining liability acceptance, understanding coverages, and evaluating policy limits.
  • Property Damage: coordinating repairs, handling total loss scenarios, and identifying non-vehicle property damages.
  • Bodily Injury: managing treatment plans, approving/denying treatment based on policy limits, and coordinating care after reviewing final property damage costs.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
