What will you do as a Planning Analyst?
As a Planning Analyst, you control all product receipt and dispatch planning activities in coordination with the Terminal Management and the Customer Service Unit. You oversee product inventories and ensure that all information is updated in the Company's system through the timely registration of transactions. You apply this to all receipt, storage, and dispatch operations, and are responsible for the management and control of controlled product movements.

What do we expect from you as a Planning Analyst?
- Professional degree in any branch of engineering.
- A minimum of three year of experience in the areas of operations, inventories, or related fields, preferably in the national chemical industry and port operations.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows, Word, and Excel. Preferably with basic knowledge in customs procedures, inventory management, and foreign trade.
- Good command of the English language (Speaking, reading, and writing).
What does your day look like?
As a Planning Analyst, you report to the Operations & Planning Manager. Your daily activities revolve around ensuring the efficiency and compliance of product movements, inventory control, and operational planning. You interact with all areas of the company internally, and externally with Inspectors, Captains or Chief Officers of Vessels, Drivers, port authorities, surveyors, contractors, auditing firms, and suppliers.
Your Core Responsibilities Are
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory control, dispatch, and receipt systems updated with relevant information for subsequent monitoring. Update inventories through the timely registration of RTT (Road Tanker Truck) loading and unloading.
Operational Control: Control the weighing of RTTs and verify weights against client requirements. Verify loading and unloading orders for RTTs. Control and plan the entry of RTTs to the terminal, efficiently managing operational resources and times to meet client expectations.
Reporting and Compliance: Elaborate statistical reports on received products and dispatched vehicles for the Port Superintendence and internal statistical reports (Monthly). Elaborate inventory statistics and KPI analysis. Manage the information system for the control of chemical substances and products (SICOQ) (Controlled Products).
Planning: Plan the receipt of ships and/or barges, managing available infrastructure and optimizing tank and line capacities.
SHEQ Responsibilities (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality): Report accidents or incidents at work. Report safety, environmental, and health incidents using various software programs. Comply with Vopak regulations, SHEQ norms, minimum standards, and other company regulations.
