Overview
Digital Lead – Integrated Enterprise Planning
Are you passionate about turning predictive data into operational foresight? We’re looking for a skilled Digital Lead / Technical Product Owner to spearhead the Integrated Enterprise Planning initiative within our Enterprise Orchestration workstream - a critical lever in our journey toward a truly integrated, data-driven supply chain.
You will be the technical architect and product owner of the Decision Intelligence (DI) Platform. While business teams define the strategic outcomes, you design and build the engine that makes them possible. Your goal is to build a reusable, scalable enterprise platform capable of solving high-entropy logistics challenges - such as real-time re-planning and multi-constraint optimization - across our global network.
The position will be based at either our Gothenburg, Sweden or Oslo, Norway office location.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Own the Decision Intelligence Technology Platform
- Architect the Technical Foundation , define the end-to-end technical roadmap for the Decision Intelligence platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise
- Own the Engineering Roadmap , drive the design and implementation of the technology stack, prioritizing architectural integrity and system performance.
- Drive simplification and rationalization of fragmented planning and orchestration technologies where appropriate
Lead Technical Architecture and Engineering
- Define and oversee architecture across:
- Data platforms and pipelines
- Application and integration layers
- Decision engines and orchestration workflows
- APIs and event-driven services
- Partner with engineering and data teams to establish high-quality engineering standards, observability, testing, deployment practices, and platform governance
Enable Real-Time Decision Execution
- Design the Decision Engine, oversee the development of the core engine layers, including optimization models, simulations, and rule-based AI, ensuring they are robust enough for automated decision-making.
- Design and implement capabilities supporting:
- Constraint-based planning and optimization
- Scenario simulation and modeling
- Event-driven orchestration
- Recommendation and execution workflows
Deliver Enterprise-Scale Capabilities
- Lead technical delivery of pilot and production use cases within capacity planning and enterprise orchestration
- Balance architectural rigor with pragmatic delivery and iterative value realization
- Ensure solutions are production-ready and capable of scaling across additional use cases and geographies
Core Responsibilities
- Bridge Business Logic and Technical execution , translate complex business decision-logic into high-fidelity system architecture, data models, and integration layers.
- Technical Leadership: Partner directly with developers, data engineers, and cloud architects to oversee the configuration and implementation of the platform.
- Systemic Optimization: Navigate the technical landscape of global logistics systems to ensure the platform can handle real-time re-planning and complex constraint satisfaction.
What You Bring
Must haves
- Proven ownership of enterprise-scale technical architecture
- Deep experience integrating complex operational and data platforms
- Demonstrated experience building decision execution capabilities such as optimization, simulation, or recommendation workflows
Preferred Background
- Experience leading complex enterprise technology initiatives in supply chain, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or similarly complex operational environments
- Experience with real-time planning or operational decision systems
- Exposure to Decision Intelligence, digital twin, or enterprise orchestration platforms
- Familiarity with technologies and platforms such as Aera, Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, graph technologies, or optimization engines is a plus
Job Requirements
Experience
- Technical Leadership: Proven track record as a Technical Lead, Lead Architect, or Platform Owner in a high-scale, data-centric environment.
- Domain Expertise: Deep experience in building Decision Engines (optimization, simulation, or AI-driven rulesets) and managing scalable data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar).
- Strategic Autonomy: A demonstrated ability to operate with a high degree of self-sufficient direction. You thrive in high-complexity domains where you must architect your own path and make critical technical "judgment calls" without extensive oversight.
- Architectural Depth: Strong command of system architecture, including event-driven patterns, API-first design, and complex data flows.
What success looks like
Within the first 6–12 months, success in this role would include:
- Establishing the technical foundation for the Decision Intelligence platform
- Delivering initial capacity planning and orchestration capabilities into production
- Enabling scalable enterprise orchestration by integrating critical data sources into a governed, reusable architecture
- Enabling real-time or near-real-time orchestration workflows
- Building reusable platform capabilities that support future enterprise use cases
- Establishing engineering and architectural standards for long-term platform evolution
