Role/ Job Title: Specialist -Loan Operations
Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Operations
Job Purpose: 'The role entails analysing and execution of WB Loan Operations. Incumbent is accountable to ensure Efficient and Accurate processing of transactions and delivery of high quality customer service ensuring all processes are adhered as per the documented processes. The role will closely collaborate with the CAD, Business teams , Central Wholesale Business Strategy team, Compliance and Finance teams to drive Efficient service delivery and Mitigation of Operational Risk. It includes building up teams, systems, appropriate process and drive culture relevant to Centralised Processing environment and handle / support bank's Audit plan.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for limit setup for Wholesale Banking including Cash Credit, Overdraft, WCDL, ODFD, Dropline Overdraft and Trade Fund/Non Fund Limits
Ensure accurate Drawing Power calculation and provide input for monitoring customer's position of stocks and credit
Candidate needs to ensure the processes and policies are compliant and streamlined within the Regulatory guidelines
Analyse business processes and workflows and redesign business activities to optimise performance, quality and speed of services or processes. This includes the exploration of automating and streamlining processes.
Manage stakeholder expectations to ensure continuous levels of engagement by identifying and addressing needs, setting service standards and resolving issues in accordance with organisational procedures
Develop and implement risk management, Change Management, Technology adoption, leading to operational excellence
Drive automations and digitization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
Work as an effective business partner in strategizing and driving the implementation of critical operational and regulatory practices for the bank
Strategize and create roadmap for re-engineering business processes to improve customer service, enhance controls and to drive cost effectiveness and accuracy
Works towards achieving Organisations goals / objectives and shows urgency in fast paced environment
MIS & Reporting
Mentor and coach senior team members to percolate ethos of customer centricity, innovation, compliance and integrity
Monitor key parameters on employee productivity, Incidents and make necessary improvements
Enable teams to drive improvements, Reduce Ops Risk by providing necessary support
Educational Qualification
Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)
Experience: 0-2 Years’ experience in Banking & Finance
