REQUIREMENTS:
- Total Experience 6+ years
- Strong hands-on experience in Workday HCM configuration, maintenance, and support.
- Strong functional expertise in Workday HCM modules and business processes.
- Experience with Compensation; Advanced Compensation experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Workday organizational structures, business processes, and security concepts.
- Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into Workday functional solutions.
- Experience supporting Workday releases, upgrades, testing, and production support.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex functional issues.
- Experience creating and maintaining functional and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project delivery practices.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Experience supporting global HR processes is a plus.
- Availability to work during US/UK business hour overlap.
- Preferred shift: 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Configure, maintain, and support Workday HCM modules based on business requirements.
- Manage Workday HCM functional configurations, enhancements, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective Workday solutions.
- Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements to optimize Workday functionality.
- Support Compensation and Advanced Compensation configurations and related business processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Workday functional issues, configuration defects, and system-related challenges
- Participate in Workday releases, upgrades, testing, and deployment activities.
- Develop and maintain functional documentation, including configuration documents, test scripts, user guides, and process flows.
- Ensure Workday solutions align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and best practices.
- Provide end-user support and training on Workday functionality and processes.
- Monitor new Workday features and recommend enhancements to improve business operations.
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Agile project delivery and participate in requirements gathering, testing, and implementation activities.
- Mentor junior team members and share functional knowledge and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure Workday solutions support the organization's overall technology strategy.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
