Job description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Sponsorships & Activations Director to lead the company’s reputation, visibility, and brand presence across all business portfolios. This role is responsible for driving strategic public relations, corporate communications, sponsorships, and high-impact brand activations that strengthen corporate image and elevate brand equity.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic storyteller and execution leader who can create memorable, “talk-of-the-town” experiences through innovative campaigns and best-in-class on-ground activations. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, brand teams, agencies, and external partners to ensure consistent, impactful, and engaging brand communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the company’s sponsorships, activations, public relations, and corporate communications strategy across brands and business units.
- Build and strengthen corporate reputation, brand visibility, and public presence through impactful communication initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Develop and execute integrated communication and activation strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
- Drive compelling storytelling across campaigns, events, sponsorships, and corporate initiatives to enhance audience engagement and brand equity.
- Conceptualize and deliver innovative, high-impact on-ground activations and experiential marketing campaigns that create strong consumer and media buzz.
- Collaborate with brand leads, marketing teams, agencies, media partners, and stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of campaigns and events.
- Oversee corporate messaging and ensure consistency across all internal and external communication channels.
- Manage relationships with PR agencies, sponsors, event partners, influencers, and media stakeholders.
- Monitor campaign effectiveness, media coverage, brand perception, and activation performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead crisis communication efforts when required, ensuring timely and effective reputation management.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to maximize ROI and execution excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field; master’s degree is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in sponsorships, brand activations, public relations, corporate communications, or experiential marketing.
- Proven experience leading large-scale campaigns, events, and high-profile brand activations.
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling capabilities with the ability to build impactful brand narratives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams and external agencies.
- Strong understanding of media relations, corporate reputation management, and experiential marketing trends.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in fast-paced environments while maintaining high execution standards.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong budget management and operational planning capabilities.
- Creative mindset with a passion for delivering innovative and memorable brand experiences.
