What to Expect
As an Operations Coordinator, you work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of a Tesla location, including the delivery of vehicles to new owners. As the point of contact for day-to-day operations, you will balance the competing needs of internal teams and customers, track vehicle preparations, communicate status updates, and improve operational efficiency. This position involves a high level of customer and employee interaction.
What You’ll Do
- Be the expert of the end to end delivery operation and systems for the german market from order placed to car delivered, and of all local specifications
- You will be responsible for coordinating daily tasks in the Sales & Delivery area and maintaining the relevant documentation
- Strategic planning with Senior Management Sales & Delivery Operations, Service Lead, B2C/B2B Managers, HQ EMEA and stakeholders to ensure targets are correct, achieved or exceeded
- Key connection between all related stakeholders in Sales/ Delivery / Service, to ensure full alignment as a market
- Plan, implement and manage efficient and scalable processes to prepare for increasing delivery volumes while focusing on the adoption of digital tools eliminating the need for human intervention
- You are an essential part of the organization and planning of vehicle arrivals, vehicle readiness and delivery days based on volume
- Process and operation creation, development and optimization for the field and inside team, and across teams in close collaboration with HQ and relevant stakeholders
- Stay on top of all relevant data related to the delivery operation for the market to correctly monitor and track progress, identify specific focus areas and ensure all locations are staying on-top of their KPI’
- Empower local management to have the best possibilities for success for their location
- You support the managers at the respective Tesla locations in administrative tasks
- Drive continuous improvements to facilitate exceptional team output and customer service by partnering with sales teams on strategic execution. We expect you to champion safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in all your actions and decisions.
- Maintain a strong overview of processes, people and resources
- You check task fulfillment, team utilization, personnel planning and training needs
- In collaboration with managers, you compare team performance with the specified KPIs, evaluate them and make suggestions for improvement
- You are the main contact for sellers (retail, transport, bodywork, etc.)
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant experience running and supporting complex operations
- Ability to manage various operational improvement projects
- Experience developing analytical models to understand and improve large-scale operations
- You have very good communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
- Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics
- You have the desire and ability to develop in a team and achieve common goals
- Managing multiple priorities effectively, organizing your workload and meeting deadlines are no problem for you
- You are flexible and have the ability to adapt and reorganize complex processes in a constantly changing environment
- You have extensive problem-solving skills and often take the initiative to be proactive
- Proficient with MS Office tools and functionalities
- Ability to communicate, read and write effectively in English at all levels
- Action-oriented personality with a passion for electric vehicle and/or renewable energy technologies
