Salary range (but not limited to):
52,200 - 63,800Incentive plan

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance to join our BrokerLink team!
As an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance, you’ll work closely with and support an Account Executive with all things related to commercial insurance and their book of business. In addition to your daily responsibilities, you’ll have opportunities to take on additional tasks—helping you build strong relationships with your Account Executive and support your career growth.

This position is available in our Arthur, ON (189, Geroge Street) office.
Your work schedule: 35 hours a week. Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm
What you’ll do here:
Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice, helping customers understand insurance, discussing customer concerns.
Receive and process all incoming Commercial paperwork.
Assist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and updating customer file information.
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificates.
Process endorsements, invoice, and follow up on payments.
Communicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with Adjusters on claims status.
Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications.
What you bring to the table:
A valid RIBO license is mandatory; industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) is an asset.
3-5 years of P&C insurance experience is required; good commercial insurance market knowledge an asset.
Proficient with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook.
Prior experience as an Account Manager will be considered a definite asset.
Customer service-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities successfully, with excellent time-management skills.
Highly organized; methodical, reliable, and detail-oriented. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently in a competitive and fast-pace industry
