Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Domain Lead with extensive experience in the payments industry. The ideal candidate will possess deep functional knowledge of payment processors, networks, and transaction processing flows, along with a strong understanding of financial industry standards. This role requires expertise in data modeling and governance, as well as a proven track record in regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of payment processing solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain enterprise logical/conceptual data models and establish Canonical Data Models.
- Establish and manage data governance frameworks, including business glossaries and data lineage mapping.
- Ensure compliance with PCI regulations, implementing necessary data security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile PODs to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications.
- Utilize SQL for data profiling and analysis to identify data gaps and improve data quality.
Mandatory Skills
- Payments Domain Expertise In-depth knowledge of payment processors, networks, and transaction flows.
- Financial Industry Standards Proficiency in payment message configurations, specifically ISO 20022, ACSS, or RTR.
- Data Modeling Expertise in designing enterprise data models and ERDs.
- Data Governance Frameworks Experience with data catalog tools like Microsoft Purview or Atlan.
- Regulatory Compliance Proven experience with PCI compliance and data security measures.
Preferred Skills
- Modern Data Stack Familiarity Basic knowledge of Snowflake architecture, dbt, and orchestration engines like Dagster.
- Data Profiling & Analysis Proficiency in complex SQL queries for data analysis.
- Agile/Pod Delivery Experience working in Agile environments as a domain expert.
- Requirement Translation Strong communication skills for converting business cases into technical requirements.
