**About the Role:**

Reliance is seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead its 10 GW mobility-grade EV battery cell business. This senior leadership role is pivotal in setting the technology vision and driving end-to-end engineering execution—from R&D and pilot lines through industrialization to at-scale manufacturing. The CTO will spearhead engineering, R&D, process, quality, and manufacturing teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-competitive battery cells tailored for electric vehicle applications.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Define and own the comprehensive technology roadmap for Reliance’s EV battery cell business.
• Lead the full product lifecycle including research and development, pilot production, scale-up, and industrialization of battery cells.
• Drive continuous improvements in yield, cost efficiency, and product quality to meet market and regulatory standards.
• Oversee cross-functional teams encompassing engineering, R&D, process development, quality assurance, and manufacturing operations.
• Establish and manage strategic partnerships across the battery cell value chain to accelerate innovation and commercialization.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout the manufacturing process.
• Lead scale-up gates and milestones to achieve GWh-scale manufacturing targets.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Mumbai and Jamnagar to align technology and operational goals.

**Qualifications & Experience:**

• Minimum 15 years of leadership experience in battery technology or energy storage sectors.
• Proven track record of managing GWh-scale battery cell manufacturing and successful scale-up projects.
• Deep expertise in battery cell R&D, pilot line operations, industrialization, and large-scale manufacturing.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate technology vision into executable plans.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
